Congratulations Barb Jenkins!
Barb Jenkins, a member of our Jane Doe No More Survivors Speak Outreach Team was honored with the First Interstate Bank Community Hero Award last month.
A resilient survivor of sexual assault—Barb uses her story to help other survivors advance their healing and find their voices. She organized the Montana chapter of Jane Doe No More.
Barb gave away more than 750 copies of her book, Burying Jane Doe, to crisis centers around the country in an effort to give hope, strength and courage to others who have been through similar situations.
She and her husband Al speak on panels around the state in an effort to help grow empathy and understanding of the long-term impact of crime on people’s lives.
Barb is a voice of change and support, always looking to help other survivors heal and teach the community how to support those who have been impacted.
Way to go Barb, we love you and are so proud of you!

Welcome to our
Jane Doe No More family!
We are honored to announce the addition of 5 new survivors to our Jane Doe No More Survivors Speak Outreach Team!
Please join us in welcoming Sharon, Lorraine, Sofia, Corrine and Bren. Each of them participated in our Survivors Speak workshop working with our amazing Survivor-led Coaching team. These brave individuals will now go on to share their stories to educate others and aid in the prevention of sexual crimes. Through these personal experiences, we are raising awareness and helping others understand more about trauma and a survivor’s journey.
Together, as our voices grow stronger, we are making significant inroads to combat the epidemic of sexual crimes.
Special thanks to the Jewish Federation of Western Connecticut for supporting this program.
